Υπάρχουν (ή υπήρξαν) καμιά δεκαριά heavy metal συγκροτήματα με τ' όνομα Fortress. Αυτοί που μας απασχολούν, στην σημερινή ανάρτηση, μας έρχονται από την Καλιφόρνια, δημιουργήθηκαν προ πενταετίας κι αρέσκονται στο κλασικό heavy metal. Δηλώνουν επηρεασμένοι από καλλιτέχνες / συγκροτήματα όπως οι Yngwie Malmsteen, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Judas Priest, Mercyful Fate, King Diamond.
Προ τριετίας κυκλοφόρησαν το (εξαιρετικό) ομώνυμο ντεμπούτο τους (ep τεσσάρων τραγουδιών). Ακολούθησε την επόμενη χρονιά (2019) το split μαζί με τους Haunt. Πλέον η Αμερικάνικη μπάντα είναι πανέτοιμη για την κυκλοφορία του πρώτου full length album της, το οποίο φέρει τον τίτλο "Don't Spare the Wicked" κι αναμένεται στα τέλη του επόμενου μήνα...
