Οι Thrust μας έρχονται από τις Η.Π.Α. Δημιουργήθηκαν στις αρχές της δεκαετίας του ογδόντα και παραμένουν ενεργοί μέχρι τις ημέρες μας. Πέντε "ολοκληρωμένοι" δίσκοι, δύο demos, ένα split (μαζί με τους Lazer House) και μία συλλογή ο απολογισμός τους. Ο πέμπτος (και πλέον πρόσφατος) φέρει τον τίτλο "The Helm of Awe" και "βγήκε" στα τέλη του περασμένου Οκτώβρη. Από την 80's "φρουρά" παραμένει (στην μπάντα) μόνο ο κιθαρίστας Ron Cooke.
