Οι Astharoth δημιουργήθηκαν στην Πολωνία το μακρινό 1988. Μπάντα τεχνικού thrash metal, η οποία κυκλοφόρησε έναν "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο ("Gloomy Experiments" 1990) και τέσσερα demos και το (1994) διαλύθηκε. Πέρυσι ο Jarek Tatarek επανέφερε το όνομα των Astharoth στο προσκήνιο. Κατά πως λέει:

«To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of "Gloomy Experiments" Jarek Tatarek - the founding member and mastermind behind Astharoth is resurrecting the spirit of Astharoth! This is NOT a reunion, this is a RESURRECTION!»

Οι Astharoth επανήλθαν ως one man band. Αποτέλεσμα τούτου η κυκλοφορία του δίσκου "Resurrection: Beginning of the End" (Απρίλιος 2020). Το 2021 "βγάζουν" singles: τον Φεβρουάριο κυκλοφόρησε το "Behind the Mask of Virtue", ενώ τον Απρίλιο αναμένεται το "Between Death and Rebirth". Εστιάζουμε στο πρώτο...
