Fortress - "Waiting for the Night" (album stream)
Fortress: αρκετά κοινό όνομα για heavy metal συγκρότημα. Υπάρχουν (ή υπήρξαν) καμιά δεκαριά μπάντες εξ' Αμερικής με το συγκεκριμένο όνομα. Ετούτοι της συγκεκριμένης ανάρτησης μας έρχονται από την Καλιφόρνια. Έδρασαν στην δεκαετία του ογδόντα κυρίως συναυλιακά (παίζοντας μαζί με μπάντες όπως οι Poison, Warrant, Alcatrazz, Malice, Heaven κλπ).
Δισκογραφικά δεν κατάφεραν να κυκλοφορήσουν κάτι παρότι είχαν αρκετά ηχογραφημένα τραγούδια. Το "κενό" καλύφθηκε προ μηνός με την κυκλοφορία του δίσκου "Waiting for the Night", ο οποίος περιλαμβάνει όλα τα τραγούδια των Fortress που συνετέθησαν από το 1984 έως το 1988 και ηχογραφήθηκαν το 1989 εκτός του "Time to Tell" (ηχογραφήθηκε το 1985) και το live "Rock is My Life (Won't Let Go)" (το 1988). Το δεύτερο μάλιστα υπάρχει μόνο στο cd και όχι στην ψηφιακή μορφή του δίσκου...
