Time Rift - "Shoot You in the Back" (single)
Το 2014 διαλύθηκαν οι doomsters Doomsower (οι οποίοι είχαν πάρει τ' όνομά τους από ένα τραγούδι των Reverend Bizarre). Τα τρία μέλη της μπάντας σχημάτισαν τους Time Rift κινούμενοι σε πιο hard rock μουσικά μονοπάτια. High voltage rock 'n' roll αποκαλούν την μουσική τους.
Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει ένα demo, δύο singles, ένα ep κι έναν "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο. Πιο πρόσφατη κυκλοφορία τους είναι το single "Shoot You in the Back", το οποίο "βγήκε" την πρωτομαγιά και περιλαμβάνει μία διασκευή στο ομότιτλο τραγούδι των Motörhead κι ένα τραγούδι ("Magic Bullet") που συνετέθη πριν σχηματισθεί η μπάντα...
Justin Kaye: «Being longtime Motörhead fans, we decided to record "Shoot You In The Back" during the Eternal Rock sessions. It has been a part of our set off and on over the last few years so it was a no brainer to lay it down. We hope you enjoy it, it is our small tribute to late, great Motörhead.
During this time of isolation, I dug around my computer and found some old pre-Time Rift tracks. These were home recordings done with a few mics to an old Tascam unit. "Magic Bullet" being the stand out number, this song brings back memories of having no direction, jamming in the garage, and not giving a fuck about the world. Raw and Real! I hope you enjoy listening to this garage recording as much as I do.»
