Briton Rites - "For Mircalla" (album stream)
Επαναδραστηριοποιήθηκαν οι Briton Rites κι επιστρέφουν δισκογραφικά μετά από μία δεκαετία. Η doom metal μπάντα του Howie Bentley (πειράζει που ευελπιστούμε -μάλλον ματαίως- σε επαναδραστηριοποίηση και των Cauldron Born;) θα κυκλοφορήσει σε λίγες ημέρες τον διάδοχο του ντεμπούτου "For Mircalla", το οποίο φέρει τον τίτλο "Occulte Fantastique".
Οι Briton Rites ιδρύθηκαν το 2006 και για τους φίλους των Cauldron Born δεν χρειάστηκε παρασύνθημα. Ήταν η καινούρια μπάντα του Howie Bentley κι αυτό αρκούσε. Το ύφος του νέου συγκροτήματος ίσως να ξένισε αρχικά καθώς απ' το US Power του "Born of the Cauldron" μέχρι το doom του "For Mircalla" (το ντεμπούτο των Briton Rites πίσω στο 2010) ίσως υπάρχει κάποια απόσταση...

This album perfectly captures the atmosphere of nineteenth-century Gothic horror in literature, as well as films such as those released by Hammer in the 1950s, '60s, and '70s. The name, Mircalla is an anagram of Carmilla. The vampiress must change her name down through the centuries to protect her identity, and she does so by rearranging the letters.»
