Black Soul Horde - "Stone Giants" (lyric video)

Centuries ago there was a flatland
It was strong and it was brave
Then a star fell from the skies
Bright light blinded their eyes
The land was covered in flames

They will rise from the fire
(They will rise from the fire)
Giant Stones on parade

Fearsome Stone Giants
Are walking the earth
Searching for land to settle down
People are greedy and people are mean
Giants get hit, and then
They fall to the ground

Their bodies crash like thunder
Stone Giants have lost the war
Peasants are cheering, crowds are hailing
But was it a war all along?

Stone Giants

Fearsome Stone Giants
Were walking the earth
Searching for land to settle down
People were greedy and people were mean
Giants got hit, and then
They fell to the ground

Stone Giants
Stone Giants

"It's not over" they say
("It's not over" they say)
"You will pay for your insolence"

Fearsome Stone Giants
Are walking the earth again
They're back from the dead, they seek for revenge
People are greedy and people are mean
"Giants, destroy"
The land burns to the ground

Stone Giants

Ο δίσκος των Black Soul Horde "Land of Demise"
Δισκογραφική επιστροφή για τους Black Soul Horde μετά από πολλά χρόνια. Ο διάδοχος του ντεμπούτου των Ελλήνων metallers ["Tales of the Ancient Ones" (Οκτώβριος 2013)] τιτλοφορείται "Land of Demise" και κυκλοφορεί από τον Νοέμβριο σε ψηφιακή μορφή, ενώ σε cd "βγήκε" προ ημερών...

Black Soul Horde (about the concept of this video): «Stone Giants was created in a time when we were having writer’s block. What we did was travel to the majestic area of Meteora, to fill our brain with beautiful pictures, with the hope that inspiration would strike! While watching the huge rocks of Meteora, we came up with the idea that they were dead bodies of huge stone giants, thus creating the main concept of the song. Like we always do, we used an epic myth to deal with everyday topics such as prejudice, arrogance and the concept of divine intervention.»

Δελτίο τύπου: «Black Soul Horde was created by John Tsiakopoulos (guitars) and Jim Kotsis (vocals) in 2012 as a side project. Soon after the first few recording sessions, having realized that the old-school oriented, metallic outcome was -no less than- the music they grew up with and loved, they decided to turn BSH into a live band.

And so it happened. Black Soul Horde's sound is merely based on the classic heavy metal sound of the NWOBHM scene, while at the same time containing elements of the modern European heavy-power metal sound (Germany, Italy etc) and American heavy metal-like vocals varying from brutal growls to high pitched melodies.

Their lyrics are inspired by the Greek and Norwegian mythology and the respectful works of Robert E. Howard (writer of Conan), H.P. Lovecraft and John Milton to name a few. The strong point of Black Soul Horde is their memorable riffs and catchy melodies, based on extraordinary lead guitar work in the vein of the Iron Maiden legacy, as well as their epic straight forward lyrics, which all combined, create a battlefield experience on and off the stage.»
