Το "Alone" το γνωρίζουμε ως τραγούδι των Heart. Πρόκειται όμως για διασκευή. Αποτελεί σύνθεση των Billy Steinberg - Tom Kelly και πρωτοκυκλοφόρησε ως μέρος του δίσκου των i-Ten "Taking a Cold Look" που "βγήκε" το καλοκαίρι του 1983.

Την φήμη του όμως την "χρωστά" στην εξαιρετική προσέγγιση των αδερφών Wilson και της μπάντας τους. Κυκλοφόρησε τον Μάιο του 1987 ως πρώτο single του album "Bad Animals" και τα υπόλοιπα είναι... μουσική ιστορία. Προς τι η αναδρομή στο παρελθόν; Η φωνητική διασκευή της (θεάς) Floor Jansen.

Η Floor Jansen δεν νομίζω ότι χρειάζεται ιδιαίτερες συστάσεις. Τραγουδίστρια των Nightwish, Star One, Northward και πρώην των After Forever (κι όχι μόνο) είναι μία από τις καλύτερες (για να μην πω η καλύτερη απ' όσες έχω ακούσει και φανώ υπερβολικός) φωνές που κυκλοφορούν εκεί έξω. Στο πιάνο και γενικότερα στην επιμέλεια της διασκευής βρίσκουμε τον Joost van den Broek, γνωστός μέσα από τους Demons & Wizards (live), After Forever, Ayreon, Star One, Epica κλπ.
