Τον Απρίλιο του 1995 κυκλοφορούσε ο δίσκος των Blind Guardian "Imaginations from the Other Side". Μία από τις κορυφές της Γερμανικής μπάντας κι ένας από τους πλέον εμβληματικούς δίσκους του Ευρωπαϊκού power metal. Η διαδικασία των ηχογραφήσεων διήρκεσε από τον Αύγουστο του 1994 μέχρι τον Μάρτιο του 1995 στην Κοπεγχάγη.

Μπορούμε να πούμε ότι πρόκειται για τον δίσκο με τον οποία η Γερμανική μπάντα "απογαλακτίστηκε" από τον Kai Hansen (είναι το πρώτο album που δεν συμμετέχει ως τραγουδιστής ή ως κιθαρίστας) και ο τελευταίος δίσκος που ακούμε στο μπάσο τον Hansi Kürsch (από το επόμενο αφοσιώθηκε στα φωνητικά).

Στις δυόμιση δεκαετίες που μεσολάβησαν το album γνώρισε αρκετές επανεκδόσεις - επανακυκλοφορίες. Μία από αυτές (η επετειακή για τα 25 χρόνια) θα λάβει χώρα τον επόμενο μήνα (11 Δεκεμβρίου) και θα περιέχει μπόλικα καλούδια (βλ. tracklist)...
