Οι Selenseas μας έρχονται από την πρωτεύουσα της Ρωσίας. Power metal μπάντα με όνομα εμπνευσμένο από την Ελληνική μυθολογία, η οποία δημιουργήθηκε προ δεκαετίας και μας παρουσιάζεται κάπως έτσι:
Τον Φεβρουάριο του 2017 κυκλοφόρησε ο πρώτος "ολοκληρωμένος" δίσκος τους υπό τον τίτλο "За гранью возможного" με τους στίχους (όλων) των τραγουδιών να είναι στην μητρική τους γλώσσα. Τρία χρόνια αργότερα, στις αρχές Αυγούστου, θα κυκλοφορήσει η αγγλόφωνη έκδοση του δίσκου. Τίτλος; "The Outer Limits"...

"The Outer Limits" contains elements of folk, progressive, doom, hard rock but is centered around the heavy/power metal genre and will be released via Rockshots Records on August 7, 2020.

At the same time, all the songs are united by the same atmosphere and are part of the same universe. They are portals, pages of a book, doors which will take you to different worlds and lead you to discover something interesting. All you need is but a single step across the boundary!"
The band decided to re-record almost all instruments for the album “The Outer Limits”. To ensure a more powerful and epic sound, several guest musicians were invited: Sergei Lazar (Arkona, Rossomahaar), Ivan Garin, Andrey Zodchiy (ex-Dis Pater), Alexey Verbitsky (Legenda) and Gamil Makhmutov (ex-Ethno-Sound).
"The Outer Limits" contains elements of folk, progressive, doom, hard rock but is centered around the heavy/power metal genre and will be released worldwide on August 7, 2020.

«Selenseas is a heavy/power metal band from Moscow, Russia, formed in 2010 by Vladislav Tyushin, the main songwriter. The name of the band comes from a combination of “Selene”, the name of the Greek goddess of the Moon, and “seas”. It literally means “Lunar seas”, or “Seas of Selene”. The band’s music immerses the listeners in an extraordinary world in which mysticism, mythology, fantasy and philosophy are intertwined with the harmony of guitars and atmospheric keyboards.»
