Idle Hands - "Don't Waste Your Time II" (ep)
Οι Idle Hands είναι ένα νέο συγκρότημα από τις Η.Π.Α. Δημιουργήθηκαν προ τριετίας και ακροβατούν ανάμεσα στο παραδοσιακό heavy metal και το Gothic Rock. Δηλώνουν επηρεασμένοι από Trad Metal, 80's Goth, Classic Rock, NWOBHM, New Wave κι από μπάντες όπως οι: Sisters Of Mercy, Heroes Del Silencio, Accept, Judas Priest, Depeche Mode, Scorpions, Satyricon.
Ο πρώτος "ολοκληρωμένος" τους δίσκος "βγήκε" πέρυσι, τιτλοφορείται "Mana" κι ήταν μία από τις ευχάριστες εκπλήξεις της περασμένης χρονιάς (νούμερο 8 στην σχετική λίστα του Metal Daze με τα καλύτερα albums του 2019). Προ ημερών οι Idle Hands κυκλοφόρησαν ένα ep δύο τραγουδιών. Φέρει τον τίτλο "Don't Waste Your Time II" σε συνέχεια του ντεμπούτου τους "Don't Waste Your Time" (με την διαφορά ότι εκείνο το ep είχε πέντε τραγούδια)...
Δελτίο τύπου: «Don’t Waste Your Time... Again! These songs were written in late 2017 in Portland, OR. The same time as the rest of the music that would end up on the "Don’t Waste Your Time" EP. Drum tracking was completed in early 2018, we were all ready to record... and then they sat around for 2 years.
In early 2020 we were finally able to re-approach these songs. The core arrangement structures are the same as they were written in 2017, with original drum tracks and musicians (Gabe, Sebastian, Colin) on the recordings.
We even managed to track at Falcon Studios again with our old friend and D.W.Y.T. engineer, producer, mixer Gabe Johnston for an as near uniform approach to this as we had for the original EP. The end result was Don’t Waste Your Time II - an expansion of the first release. Songs you should have heard 2 years ago. This EP was tracked between November 2017 and June 2020 at Falcon Recording Studios in Portland, Oregon. U.S.A.»
