Πριν από δεκαπέντε χρόνια δύο από τις σημαντικότερες φωνές που κυκλοφορούν εκεί έξω, ο Russell Allen και ο Jørn Lande, ένωσαν τις δυνάμεις τους σε ένα μουσικό project που παραμένει ενεργό μέχρι τις ημέρες μας αν κι έχει να κυκλοφορήσει δίσκο από το 2014. Το συνθετικό "βάρος" ανέλαβε ο Magnus Karlsson κι από το 2013 και μετά ο Timo Tolkki.

Οι Allen / Lande έχουν κυκλοφορήσει τέσσερις "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους. Το ντεμπούτο τους φέρει τον τίτλο "The Battle" και "βγήκε" το φθινόπωρο του 2005. Η δισκογραφική εταιρεία Frontiers Records το επανέφερε στο προσκήνιο παρουσιάζοντας το lyric video του εναρκτήριου τραγουδιού "Another Battle"...
