Ten Years After - "I'd Love To Change The World" (live audio)

Everywhere is
Freaks and hairies
Dykes and fairies
Tell me, where is sanity?

Tax the rich
Feed the poor
Till there are no
Rich no more

I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you

Population
Keeps on breeding
Nation bleeding
Still more feeding, economy

Life is funny
Skies are sunny
Bees make honey
Who needs money? No, not poor me

I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you

World pollution
Is no solution
Execution
Electrocution
It's black and white
Rich or poor
Them and us
Stop the war

I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you

Ο δίσκος των Ten Years After "Naturally Live"
Το "I'd Love to Change the World" είναι το πλέον αναγνωρίσιμο τραγούδι των Ten Years After. Σύνθεση του Alvin Lee (R.I.P.), την οποία πρωτακούσαμε στον δίσκο της Βρετανικής μπάντας "A Space in Time" που κυκλοφόρησε τον Αύγουστο του 1971, ενώ "βγήκε" και αυτόνομα ως single (επτάιντσο βινύλιο με το "Let the Sky Fall" στην δεύτερη πλευρά).

Δελτίο τύπου: «Recorded at HsD, Erfurt, Germany on 24th March 2018, Naturally Live contains live recordings by the British blues-rock band Ten Years After. It contains tracks such as:” Land Of The Vandals”, “Silverspoon Lady” & “Last Night Of The Bottle” taken from their phenomenally successful 2017 studio album A Sting In The Tale.

These tracks are combined with old favorites such as I'd Love To Change The World, Hear Me Calling, Good Morning Little Schoolgirl and, of course, the Woodstock killer track I'm Going Home.

Also included is the band's semi-acoustic section of their current live show which features three tracks from the very early days in 1967: “Portable People”, “Don't Want You Woman” & “Losing The Dogs”. A knockout performance by the current line-up consisting of Marcus Bonfanti (Guitar/Vocals), Colin Hodgkinson (Bass/Backing Vocals) and originals Chick Churchill (Keyboards) and Ric Lee (Drums/Backing Vocals).»
