Το ποίημα του Βρετανού λογοτέχνη / ποιητή James Shirley, "Death the Leveller", αποτέλεσε την έμπνευση για το όνομα της Ιρλανδέζικης μπάντας, η οποία δημιουργήθηκε προ τετραετίας από τρία μέλη (εκ των τεσσάρων) των Mael Mórdha που βρίσκονται σε κατάσταση αναμονής τα τελευταία χρόνια. Οι Death the Leveller μας παρουσιάζονται κάπως έτσι: «new Doom metal band from Dublin featuring members from Mael Mórdha and Cursed Earth». Ο δεύτερος δίσκος τους κυκλοφορεί ήδη. Φέρει τον τίτλο "II" (μαντέψτε τον τίτλο του πρώτου) και "βγήκε" προ ημερών...
