Sabaton - "The Future of Warfare" (lyric video)

Το βίντεο των Sabaton για το "The Future of Warfare" από το album "The Great War"
Standing in the line of fire
32 will lead the way
Coming over trench and wire
Going through the endless grey

A desolate wasteland
Infernal depiction of hell
The birth of a new way
September 15, 1916

The first wave approaches
At Flers-Courcelette
Through fire and brimstone
Breaking away, coming your way

Standing in the line of fire
32 will lead the way
Coming over trench and wire
Going through the endless grey

Standing in the line of fire
Moving on and through the fray
Coming over trench and wire
Live to fight another day

The spell has been broken
A new way to wage war has come
The future of warfare
For all to be seen, 1918

The new world approaches
Villers-Bretonneux
Mechanized warfare
Breaking away, coming your way

Το καινούριο δισκογραφικό πόνημα των Sabaton τιτλοφορείται "The Great War" και κυκλοφορεί από το περασμένο καλοκαίρι. Σήμερα σας παρουσιάζουμε το lyric video του εναρκτήριου τραγουδιού "The Future of Warfare"...

Δελτίο τύπου: «The Battle of Flers–Courcelette on the 15th of September, 1916 marked the introduction of the tank to the battlefield and revolutionized the tactics of warfare.

With the ability to absorb light arms fire, crush barbed wire defenses, and traverse enemy trenches, while maintaining steady return fire; 32 British Mark I tanks were successfully deployed to advance on the German positions across the endless smoke and fire between the combatants’ entrenchments.

The Second Battle of Villers-Bretonneux on the 24th of April, 1918 marked the first tank vs tank battle when 3 German A7V tanks engaged 3 British Mark IV tanks on the battlefield. Like the fighter plane shortly before it, the tank proved itself to be a necessity for the future of mechanized warfare.»
