False Memories: Ιταλικό prog rock συγκρότημα, το οποίο σχηματίσθηκε προ τετραετίας από τον κιθαρίστα Francesco Savino. Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει ένα ep ("False Memories" - 2016) και το full length album "Chimerical" στις αρχές του 2018. Αυτοχρηματοδοτούμενα και τα δύο. Πλέον ο δίσκος θα κυκλοφορήσει μέσω δισκογραφικής εταιρείας σε λίγες ημέρες με δύο bonus τραγούδια...

False Memories started with the intent to get into the listener’s emotional sphere through an intimate songwriting, but purposefully rather easy listening. It deals with an admixture of influences whose roots might in a broad sense be traced back to Rock, with Prog, Pop and Metal influences.
The arrangements are often quite complex with a balanced sound texture between vintage and contemporary instruments. The ultimate sound blending is ensured by a state-of-art production.»
Bio: «False Memories started in 2015 upon an idea of guitarist Francesco Savino, who got together with Valentina Pucci, the first singer of the band. In march 2016 the band reached its first goal publishing the first self-titled EP, featuring 4 original tracks and 1 cover. Moving on the band’s soundscapes got more mature heading towards an intimate kind of variously influenced rock; driven by its new sound, the band started to work on its first full-length release that only featured original tunes.
"Chimerical" was released in January 2018 as the first self-published album co-written by Savino and Pucci. In october 2018, False Memories completed their line up with Rossella Moscatello at the voice, Gianluca Zaffino on bass and Giovanni Cattaneo on drums.
