Οι Cardinals Folly εμπνεύσθηκαν τ' όνομά τους από τα βιβλία του Dennis Wheatley με κεντρικό λογοτεχνικό ήρωα τον The Duke De Richleau. Φινλανδικό doom metal. Ξεκίνησαν το 2004 ως The Coven και πήραν το τωρινό τους όνομα τρία χρόνια αργότερα. Εν έτει 2019 επιστρέφουν δισκογραφικά καθώς τον επόμενο μήνα θα κυκλοφορήσουν split μαζί με τους Lucifer's Fall (από τρία τραγούδια η κάθε μπάντα)...
