Οι Ültra Raptör μας έρχονται από τον Καναδά. Δημιουργήθηκαν προ τριετίας κι αρέσκονται στο "Old School Heavy/Speed Metal" (κατά δήλωση των ιδίων). Αναφέρουν ως επιρροές μπάντες όπως οι: Savage Grace, Exciter, Agent Steel, Living Death, Liege Lord, Scanner, Iron Angel, Cloven Hoof, Riot, Old Rage, Manilla Road, Faithful Breath-Risk, Running Wild, Manowar, Judas Priest, Old Savatage, Old Iron Maiden.
Στα τέλη Ιουλίου κυκλοφόρησαν ψηφιακά το ντεμπούτο τους. Πρόκειται για ep πέντε τραγουδιών με τίτλο τ' όνομά τους. Αυτές τις ημέρες "βγήκε" και σε cd, ενώ στο πρόγραμμα είναι να κυκλοφορήσει και σε κασέτα...

Lung & Rick Wild decided to join forces and start-up writing music that isn’t played as frequently as it should in Quebec province: Heavy/Speed metal. Recovering from the worst hangover possible, on October 21st, 2015, a guy came out of a Delorean and said that we should do something about it. He told us that he just came back from the future or somethin’... anyway... we started jamming over our first draft of what will be Ültra Raptör since.
Long story short (‘cause you don’t have all day..)..In January 2018, Ültra hit Holywaves Studio to record his first EP and launched his Xenozoic fury upon the world for the first time when opening on February 27th for no one else than UDO Dirkschneider himself at Quebec City Imperial Theater. That’s one small step for Ültra Raptör, one giant leap for mankind... Stay tuned, ’cause like Dinosaurs; we’ll change the course of history.»
