Το "Fighting for the Earth" είναι το πλέον αναγνωρίσιμο τραγούδι των Warrior.
Μας γυρίζει πίσω στο μακρινό 1985 όταν κυκλοφορούσε ως μέρος του ομότιτλου δίσκου - ντεμπούτου των Αμερικανών metallers, αλλά και αυτόνομα ως single (με το "Only the Strong Survive" στην δεύτερη πλευρά του βινυλίου), ενώ υπάρχει και στο demo του 1984.
Προ ημερών (17 Ιουλίου) οι Warrior το παρουσίασαν "ζωντανά" στο "Cooks Corner" της Καλιφόρνια. (Πρόκειται για ένα μπαρ που δημιουργήθηκε το 1984 κι αποτελεί στέκι μηχανόβιων.)
Η εμφάνισή τους είχε ως στόχο να τιμηθεί η μνήμη του μπασίστα Rob Farr, ο οποίος απεβίωσε στις 9 Μαΐου σε ηλικία 63,5 ετών.
Την θέση του στους Warrior πήρε ο (μπασίστας του "μυθικού" "Love You to Pieces" των Lizzy Borden κι όχι μόνο) Mike Davis (Halford, ex-Lizzy Borden, ex-Death Dealer κλπ)...
