Ritual, ένα από τα πλέον κοινότυπα ονόματα για μπάντα. Υπάρχουν περισσότερα από τριάντα συγκροτήματα με αυτό το όνομα. Οι Ritual της συγκεκριμένης ανάρτησης δημιουργήθηκαν τον Σεπτέμβριο του 1973 στο Λονδίνο και παρέμειναν ενεργοί μέχρι τα μέσα της δεκαετίας του ενενήντα.

Δύο "ολοκληρωμένοι" δίσκοι ("Widow" 1983, "Valley of the Kings" 1993), δύο singles ("Burning" 1981, "Into the Night / Burning" 1990), μία συλλογή ("The Early years 1974 - 1986" 1990) και μία βιντεοκασέτα ("Naisha" 1993) ο δισκογραφικός τους απολογισμός.

Μάλιστα επειδή στο εξώφυλλου του ντεμπούτου τους δεν αναγραφόταν το όνομα της μπάντας παρά μόνο ο τίτλος του δίσκου πολύς κόσμος νόμισε ότι τους λένε Widow και τους αποκαλούσε με αυτό το όνομα. Το κύκνειο άσμα των Ritual ("Valley of the Kings") επανακυκλοφόρησε στα τέλη Απριλίου από την High Roller Records...
