Τον Νοέμβριο του 1998 κυκλοφορούσε το έκτο full length album των Bolt Thrower υπό τον τίτλο "Mercenary". Στις αρχές του τρέχοντος έτους ο δίσκος επανακυκλοφόρησε (σε βινύλιο) από την ίδια εταιρεία (Metal Blade Records). Οι Bolt Thrower σχηματίσθηκαν το μακρινό 1986 (αρχικά ως Bolthrower) και παρέμειναν ενεργοί μέχρι και προ πενταετίας, αν και ο τελευταίος τους στουντιακός δίσκος ("Those Once Loyal") "βγήκε" το 2005...
