Valhalla: Αμερικάνικο underground heavy metal συγκρότημα του πρώτου μισού της δεκαετίας του ογδόντα. Ξεκίνησαν ως Snowblind παίζοντας διασκευές σε τραγούδια κλασικών συγκροτημάτων όπως οι Black Sabbath και οι Motörhead. Το 1980 μετονομάσθηκαν σε Valhalla αρχίζοντας να γράφουν το δικό τους υλικό. Ένα ep έξι τραγουδιών ("Valhalla" - 1984) κι ένα demo τεσσάρων κομματιών ("Demo" - 1985) ο δισκογραφικός τους απολογισμός προτού διαλύσουν.
Το 2001 κυκλοφόρησε η συλλογή "Return of the Mystic Warrior", ενώ εν έτει 2017 έρχονται (εν τη απουσία τους) να μας απασχολήσουν ξανά καθώς η Cult Metal Classics θα κυκλοφορήσει -σε διπλό βινύλιο, vd και box set- συλλογή με τίτλο τ' όνομα της μπάντας που θα περιλαμβάνει τα 12 τραγούδια που είναι ήδη γνωστά συν πέντε ακυκλοφόρητα! Πρόκειται για τα "Hallowed is the dawn", "Blood Eagle", "Ruler of the night", "It Never ends" και "She's a lie"...

The reissue will be available on limited edition Double Gatefold Vinyl, CD and Box Set and will include tons of photos, lyrics of all songs, story of the band and everything a fan of the band ever dreamed of. This will be the ultimate tribute to these legends that consisted of Joseph Mutch (Bass), Edward Horgan (Drums), William Hornyak (Guitars), John Merkt (Keyboards) and David Fefolt (Vocals).
We want to extend a very special thanks to Ed Horgan for his friendship all those years and for putting everything together, giving us the opportunity to release a majestic reissue, doing justice to the divine music.
